 ducketts turn yellow

I got a ghost a few months back and it's yellow already. ..fished maybe 4 days a week and after it never sits in the sun unless were on the lake...upset i spent 100 on a rod that looks like a banana yogurt

i have 4 of them. one has turned yellow. still works.

Well now you have skeet Reese rods  My skeets are turning white like a ducket but work great. No worries.

My Abu Garcia Veritas are still brilliant pearl white. That sucks that the finish on your rods is fading so quickly. I'd be upset too.

Put a little bleach on a cotton ball, dampen the rod in a small spot to test. Lay it in the sun. It should turn white again. If it works do the whole rod. When it is dry put a good coat of Turtle Wax on it and it will be good to go.
Don't get any bleach on my NEW FINWICK, Ha...

They will warranty them. The ones that are yellowing are from the first batch which had bad finish on them. It does not hurt the rod, just looks bad. Duckett will send you new ones if you want.

Great that they replace them, but all this stuff made in China....we want good prices....and actually expect good quality...sometimes it catches up with us. Think I'll buy American made Falcons!

I've been a trucker for yrs so haven't been able to fish as much as i'd like , but i'm trying to learn. My son goes with me , so that is cool,he is trying to learn also, we both want to become better fisherman.
