Hey are a few walleye from the last few weeks I very seldome keep fish. Except out of the private lakes that I manage for trophy Bass. Walleye are the exception that may be the best eating fresh water fish periode.

They seem to take on the flavor of what you cook with Zoro fishy taste as good as big blue gill or crappie. Bigger fillets and fry up great.

I've seen them in Broken Bow lake but I didn't know any Texas lakes had them. What lake if you don't mind telling?

There are actually several lakes in Texas that have them the state record out of Meredith I believe is 12 pounds.

That's correct! Too bad meredith is so dry, as is lake mackenzie!

So is White River!
