Welcome aboard and good luck.
I did pretty good by the dam myself, minnow about a foot above a jig with a chartreuse Berkley power bait, pink head.
10' deep in about 20 ' of water. welcome fish

With the lake being low you can find the big isolated trees that are normally under water. You can catch a couple on those trees then move to the next one, the key is to move from tree to tree.

Get ahold of Tommy and take an informational trip with him. Like hundreds and hundreds of posts have said before on any lake, a guide is well worth the money. They know where the structure is, they know where the fish are. They will give you tons of examples that you can follow in the future. I've been on Hubbard hundreds and hundreds of times and took a trip with Tommy, it was a blast. I didn't have to haul my boat, unload/load it, or run the trolling motor, stress free.

General spots to fish: Look for main lake points and scan around looking for underwater brush, narrow your search to a certain area of the lake, such as south of 30 and on the east side of the lake. Also, fish up and down the bridge over and over, or just tie up and have a few rods out and wait for them to swim by.
