Looks like there is a new store to open up over there sometime next month. Where this store is to located, just off of Loop 820 and Hwy 199, it may actually have a Fort Worth, TX address. Not sure.
As far as fishing, any recommendations yeahs/nays for this company?
They are much closer for us over here on the west side than Bass Pro or Cabellas

Generally speaking they are higher than Academy and online merchants. When you go into their stores to look for one item, you better take you a bottle of water because you will have to walk to the whole store to find it. They use no logic when stocking the shelves. You'll find some of this here and then a couple isles over they'll be some more of that same type of item. Weird.

Do a search on here about Gander Mountain. You be entertained by the what you read.

We are going to get one here in Waco. I hope they have lower prices that Cabelas. I get most of my stuff at Academy or Walmart.

Oh Lord. Ok, well there is an Academy store not that much further away on the west side of town here. Sounds like that still may be the 'closest source' for fishing tackle.

Too expensive and terrible selection. About as wide of a selection as youll find at wally world.

The traffic has gotten better over there. But its close for me so its not bad. Will definitely check out the GM store just to see what all the hype is about. Anglers has a huge selection and I always like to support the local guys

Over priced and usually dont have what I want

I don't shop there but saw the sign last week. It's on the Quebec exit right across the street from the IHOP, right next door to the new movie theatre.
