It's clams/mussels!!! I don't think these are zebra mussels but had quite a few fish with them inside today!!! I have been noticing that the quality of fish is way down this year. Lots of skinny fish. Thought it was just a prolonged spawn but it doesn't seem to be getting better. Guess the threadfin die off is having an effect. I have heard of people catching threadfins but I have been all over the lake and just catching gizzards. Big ones but also a bunch of one and two inch gizzards. Only catching a few threadfins a day, sometimes none.

Use to back in ks fish mussel beds and you could shake catfish and it would sound like a bag of marbles with so many in there belly!
