The 2014 Kings of Cowtown is in the books. I want to thank all of the teams that fished with us this year. You guys are the best field that we have ever had. I also wand to give you guys kudos on following all the rules, check ins, take offs. I didn't have a single team complain about another team all weekend and that makes my job super easy. I also want to say that you guys did an outstanding job on fish care. Every single fish that was brought to Fun n Sun today from Grapevine was released and very healthy back into the lake. It just proves that if everyone does their job, tournaments dont kill fish. I also want to say thank you to Monte Reagan, Floyd Yarborough, Craig Schuff and the entire Fun n Sun staff for helping me run the take offs and weigh ins. Without you guys, there is no way that I could have participated in this thing. Thanks I have to say that the final weigh in was special. It was so cool to see so many people there. The band was off the charts good so thank you guys for playing. Thanks to Cody Bird, Charlie Credicott, Dee Trammell and everyone that helped during the final weigh in. I want to thank Fun n Sun, Moritz, Dobyns, M&M Erectors, Slocum Heating and A/C, Mooney Construction, Glass Sales and Service, Supreme Lending, Trinity Paint and Body, Mooney Construction, sure Life, Lonestar Pools, TFF and Big Green Egg. There is no way this happens without you guys. Thanks for you generous sponsorships. I think everyone that fished will tell you guys the same. You guys are awesome. Here are the top 10 finishers. Full results will follow very shortly 1. Brian Clark / Ryder Clark 33.02 2. Steve Holtman / Tony Lumpkins 32.38 3. Mark Biondi jr / Mark Biondi sr 26.84 4. Clint Freeman / Garrett Winford 25.47 5. Darryl Roach / Vince Repola 23.49 6. Eric Stapleton / Tim Goodell 23.12 7. Tanner Worley / Mike Vasquez 21026 8. Monte Coon / Gary Ables 20.69 9. David Easley / Byron Biondi 19.86 10. Donnie Moore / Trey McAlpin 19.44
Again, Thanks to everyone who participated and everyone who helped make this the best tournament of the year. See you guys next year. Donnie Moore

I don't think anyone realizes how much work goes into putting this tournament together. Every year Donnie does an outstanding job to make it better and better. He puts in 60-70 hrs a week with his business, yet he finds time to put this event together. Thank you Donnie for all your hard work! I know first hand how stressful it can be to organize an event like this. Every one that had a hand in helping, I commend each and every one of you for all your help and a job well done! This is by far the best one ever and I can only imagine how good it's going to be next year. I don't understand why this tournament can't get a full field on the East Side.
Congrats to Brian and Ryder Clark on the win! Well deserved. Brian is a class act and a great person and I couldn't be more proud for him. Congrats to Steve Holtman and Tony Lumpkins as well. These guys flat out put it on is today, and made an impressive jump from 10th to second. Good job fellas!
