Can anyone give me some ideas on spots and lures that have been working lately. I haven't been out there in about 2 months. I just pulled up at hubbard and its between storms but the lightning is still to close to go out. Im gonna wait a bit and see if this next round will pass by before to long.

Check the humps, levees, structure till you mark fish. Fish move like Nascar this year looking for scattered baits. Use slabs. If find good concentration use spoons and mepps. Later in day has been better for hubbard.

Thanks for the info. But due to the weather I only got about 20mins of fishing in before round 2 moved in and I said im not becoming another statistic and got out of there. There was a guy in a white and silver center console off RP where I was catching fish, he looked to be using live bait though.

I went out as the rain was ending and fished until 8pm. Fished slabs and mepps around the peanut, robertson point, and the west 30 bridge. Nothing. Not one bite. Maybe I should just go back to fishing for largemouth. Haven't had a successful white bass trip yet. If you see a bald guy in a white skeeter bass boat catching nothing, feel free to point me in the right direction.

I went out and looked yesterday evening after the storms and didn't find any biting fish. I'm on vacation this week and going to be out and fishing a lot. Stop by and say hi if your out.
