Fishing 1/2 mile offshore of Port Aransas jetties during the 2014 Blue Water Kayak Classic Kingfish Tournament..i was paddling my malibu mini-x and trolling two rapala X-rap jointed shads, i managed to land a 15 and a 22 pound king in 2 hours on the water..had a dolphin try to steal my kingfish from me for a few minutes..

Cool! We launched right ther last Sunday. Nasty, stinky water for almost 100 yrds (loaded with mullet though) then very nice after the muck! Wonder if it was the same pod of dolphins that was messin w/me? 1 came up n pulled on my kingfish as I was trying to swing it in the yak? We played tugowar with it for a few seconds. Scared the dolphin away (well kind) when I poked my paddle in the water its direction. It was a BLAST but very strange crazy there were three in the water staring at me several inches below the waterline. The one bobbed it's head up looking for what I had done with my catch. Happened again with a lrg Spanish Mack! Then they would'nt stop following me!!! U Cant catch anything when they are fallowing your lures bang
Cool video SB thumb maybe we can hook up sometime. Have u ever tried the state park MUSTANG ISLAND? THOSE RIGS R SO CLOSE!

thnx 4 shrin cheers

Dude, I have caught many many tuna, I know the difference but it would be very unlikely you saw tuna out of your kayak. My largest tuna is 142 lbs and I caught two that size on the same day.
Not sure why you sent that link and said look here. If you are referring to Bonito. Most people call them bonito/Bonita but not Tuna and in your yak in port a, unlikely. Possible but unlikely
