Five trips to the lake and a grand total of five fish caught.

Best day I had was the first day when I knew nothing about the lake. Got three that day.

Going to try Tawakoni tomorrow. Hopefully it'll treat me better.

I know a lot of us are on a fixed budget but If at all possible get on Lakeguide Matts Party Boat trip, best 75 dollar you'll spend.

First day we hit the lake about 10am. All other days have been mornings.

I mostly fish for hybrids, they move around a lot, helps to have places to look. The sand bass have been shallow from what I have heard from my usual sources.

What kind of electronics are you using?

Did you find my map and try the spots where I have been consistently catching them per my recent posts? Are you locating a concentration of fish on the bottom before you try to catch them? Are you working slabs or soft plastics on the bottom, slow-rolling an inline spinner along the bottom, using live bait, or trolling? Tell us what you're doing and maybe we can help.

Yep.. Go out with Matt, then head over to Cedar Creek and apply methods to Dennis map and you will smash them. These guys are amazing!

Electronics are Onix 10 with 360°.

Been fishing spinners, slabs and some plastics.

I have your list of spots Dennis, been trying them. Can't seem to find any large concentrations. Or it could be I haven't figured out what I'm looking at yet.

Fished Tawakoni today with Redneck17. I managed one small hybrid and a fair sized sandie. Got both of those on a Mann's Little George in under 10' of water.

This is what catch-able white bass look like on sonar. Note they may extend up from the bottom, but they are connected to the bottom and are spread out like this.

I will be on Cedar Creek Saturday morning. I haven't fished as much this year as usual but will help any way that I can. I am in a red and white ProCraft fish and ski. If you see us stop by and say hello.

I went to Cedar Creek Wednesday caught 28 sand bass 5 catfish and 3 yellow bass. I always catch fish using a #4 Mepps but not Wed. only 2 fish hit the #4 I tied on a #2 Mepps but still no takers , so I put a small inline sinker about 14 inches above the #2 Mepps and started catching fish. I noticed very small schools of baitfish that looked about the size of the #2. Most fish were in the 12 to 15 fow. Found that technique from Dennis.

Dennis, where would I find the map you were referring to in your earlier post. I am trying to put my wife on some fish this weekend before she starts back to school. We are headed to Twak in the morning, but may make the trip to Cedar Creek Sunday if we don't have any luck tomorrow.

Thanks for the help.
