Good site I ran across on Kayak design - terminology and design aspects/considerations.

A good rule of angling philosophy is not to interfere with another fisherman's ways of being happy, unless you want to be hated.

Maybe his design on a hail proof rain hat with chin strap. Reminds me of a guy I used to see pedaling the streets of Hollywood, Fl. Had seen him for years riding his bike, each year there would be a tweak here or there, but the basic design was intact. He adjusted the sails by cranking on the spinning reels mounted on each side. I stopped and spoke to him one day and spent fifteen minutes reading over the spiral notebook he carried around, with notes to himself that would make the contraption ride/sail better. rolfmao He was hoping to get a patent on it and was actually a pretty smart guy from what I could tell. cheers

A.) more time/money than sense and
B.) Innovation running out of their ears

...but I did get a good laugh out of the responses!
