Went out on Fork today for some deep water instruction from Mr. Roy Greer. Caught some nice ones in 30+ feet of water. Here are three of them. Had a great time. Thanks Roy.

Congrats on a good trip with Roy. The first time I ever fished with Roy was on a frigid day in February about 10 years ago. We caught fish deep, but nothing like the ones you're holding. Can you share some more detail? (technique/depth etc., not location)

30-35 feet; jigs and flukes; best time was between 11:00 and 1:00; very little wind; very hot

jigs and flukes have been the Fork bait all summer long for these finicky bass.
It's all about finding them & waiting for them to bite.
Last weekend I found plenty of fish, but they were not ready to feed when I was there. & with ADD it was hard for me to sit there and wait for them to start hitting my lures.
LOCATION & TIMING...................
Nice bass & a good job by your guide.
Congrats

Congrats on some nice fish, Roy is a great guy. He can fish a jig, and makes some good lures too...

Nice, deep water is fun, but can be so frustrating.

It was nice meeting you on the water today and I hope you enjoy retirement and fishing here on Fork!
We caught them as you seen on Watermelon Chartreuse rattle snakes c-rigged today. Sounded like you had a good day with Roy!

Awesome fish! Sure is fun pulling them out of that deep water. Way to brave the heat!
