Caught my first king mackerel on a kayak last month! It was a great fight! Gotta love the yak!!! Some constructive criticism would be awesome too !!!!

Congrats! For some reason, I'm not showing a photo. Never mind, I refreshed and got the video. I wish I had my own personal paddlers that sits in the back and paddles while I fish and just chill!

Well there are very cheap to get one!!! haha just kidding that is my friend! he had to pass the pole to me because i could not steer in the front of the yak and that king had pulled us offshore a ways so the waves were definitely playing a factor so it was a major team effort! Need i mind you guys we were just messing around in the yak so nothing was tied down and there were no life jackets lol so the paddling thing was a big deal!!!

we were just messing around in the yak so nothing was tied down and there were no life jackets lol so the paddling thing was a big deal!!! (INSERT LECTURE HERE) Offshore is no joke. Lifejackets are a must.

We werent expecting to go anywhere but anchor off the side of the jetties trying to catch mangrove snapper. Then all of a sudden we have a King and a Tarpon hook up, damn, it was crazy but yes after that im getting some nice PFD's

Does anyone have a preference on kayaks for running offshore for this kind of fishing? besides a hobie adventure island lol
