I'm planning on spending a few days at Lake Murray over the next few weeks and haven't been on it since last year. How low is the lake? I've heard mixed answers to this so I wanted to see if anyone had been on it recently. Also, is the grass still the place to catch them or has everything gone deep?
Thanks

Lake is still very low. The rain hasn't helped any. Fish are all over. Top water early then move deep as sun hits the water. Punching grass is also producing. The night bite has been great with the full moon

Thanks for the info. I know buzzbaits and flukes were the ticket last year about this time. Still much of the same?

Haven't been there since spring. Normally flukes work well for me in the summer months, especially on cloudy days. I don't see that changing just because the lake is low.
