Have never fished bridgeport for bass!!! Wanting to try this weekend. Any tips or spots would be greatly appreciated mind you fishing from kayak. Thanks look foward to hearing from yall..

Most rocky points hold fish. Trick worms on a shaky head work wonders on that lake.

I used to put in at the dam and fish the rip/rap all around there and catch LMB. I would then head out to Horse Island and troll for sand bass on the way out there and back. I could usually catch a few sandies on the aerators by the dam as well. Rebel Wee-R crawfish crank around the rip/rip and black/chrome crank baits while trolling. Last time I checked they still had that ramp closed so you may have to launch off 380.

You can still put in at Wise County Park . Lots of riprap a short paddle from the park . No launch fee

I spent the weekend out there. Bass were hitting at night, but the water is really low. Fishing is still pretty good. Water is warm in spots and cold on other. I had most luck around piers etc
