I actually like the lakeview marina area to fish from. But I have been deployed all year so who knows it might have changed a lot since I have been out there. Good luck that lake can be great one day and then the next you can't get anything to bite.

Good luck on getting info on this lake. Lots of tourny guys around this area that are pretty tight lipped. Lakeview is good when the water is, up but its been low for a long while now and that area has been tough. Also, I wouldn't run much further past that area unless you know what you are doing. Make sure you stay in the channel and well away from the point that extends from angler's club and also around the island. I've had limited results down south by that dam. Cranks and shaky heads usually pick up a few for me but it hasn't been stellar fishing by any means. Hope this helps a little.

The view/response ratio ought to be pretty good on this thread.

Small shallow diving crankbaits in any shad pattern or chartruse/black backs, and soft plastics ( watermelon red or watermelon gold) tx rig, wacky (zoom trick worms), or split shot small plastics will get you bit around just about any dock on the lake! Look for the shade! Good luck. On eagle mountain fish live from 1 ft to 25ft year round... Just depends on how you like to fish.
