I wanted to try some of that there Stubbys cheese bait on some of these here western channel kitty fish
missed my east trip with my buds to go crappie ketchn on Palestine and sat around in the pool with the family for most of the day
now mind ya .....I was charging the batteries up on the ss minnow and gathering items to go on a dark thirty mission ,
my original plan was to ketch crappie . after repeated failed attempts at 3 locations and numerous yella bass getting in the way I said well ....
maybe some kitty kat action ?
I have to say this , its to bad I didn't start on them first !!!
WOW what a slam fest yawl
no baited hole er nothin ....just anchored up in 17 foot of water
right off the dam rocks ,,,,and slayed the you know right out of em
ding dong me misplaced my treble hooks so I just used crappie jigs ,6 lb test and 7 and 8 foot Bonehead crappie rods ....
to say it worked well would be a lie ....its worked ridiculous well stupid yawl
limited out and maybe threw back 15 or so ....
terribly fun stuff ....instant bite every drop
I finally went to only one rod because of all the hassle with 2 at a time
man oh man what a SMOKING HOT kitty kat bait ...
