6 lb. 8 oz Lake Murvaul 1970 on a cinnamon colored Hellbender. Just minutes before catching this fish, I hooked up on a slightly smaller fish and it broke off. I was trying to find another lure to tie on when heard the water erupt, the fish came out and threw the Hellbender that had broke off. Went over and retrieved the lure and a few cast later caught the 6-8. I don't usually tell this story because no one believes it and it hurt my feelings to be called a liar, but I am older and tougher with thick skin now so go ahead I can take it.

8lbs 8oz football from Murvaul. I've caught 4 fish over 8lbs and can't seem to crack the 9lb mark yet. Hopefully next spring.
