What do you think the response would be for a new modern ramp and tournament center on Cedar Creek. A deep water 3-4 wide ramp with large paved parking area, loading docks, lighting, convenience store, etc., located mid lake, perhaps on the east side of the lake along Hwy 198 south of Gun Barrel.

Hard to compete with Log Cabin. I personally never fish that part of the lake. Curious to see the responses.

It might work if you can offer such a thing. Sunny Glen use to be where everything went out of. Same as Log Cabin. Parking! Even though there is adequate parking at Log Cabin, it is on messy surfaces if it rains and there are no definite parking places, just kind of random. I have had my trailer hit there before.

Sounds great ! Make it a bass boat only facility on the weekends, jet fleas and ski tards allowed Tuesday through Thursday from 1PM to 3PM $100 launch fee so you can keep the bass boaters/fishermans launch fee under $10...that sounds like a great place !!! Good luck, hope to see it open soon.

That would be nice. I personally dislike log cabin because of how far south it is. Lots of great water midlake and north to fish. Would defiantly be the new place for Tournaments

Closer to dfw... will equal success for tourney anglers. Make a 1 lane side ramp for pleasure boaters on tourney days .lol

make plenty of parking space and get it in the water deep, look back on some CC history of the lowest lake levels and design below that depth.

Heck yes !! Bring it on !!! If you build it and keep it nice folks will come !! Cedar Creek is in dire need for a nice all around facility like that. Log Cabin is nice, but the parking area is not worth a [censored] !! Darn near need a front end alignment when you leave.

I have been thinking that for years.....there a lot of tournaments on CC and the only place to host is LC....no gas or store if needed. I wish I would have bought the old Sunny Glen place, with a new bridge coming it would have been the perfect spot. So I would say most definitely it would work, but it would like someone said earlier need to be where it could work under low water conditions

Bring money. Property here is expensive as are property taxes. I would check with the Tarrant County Water Board and find out what is required.

log cabin is good ramp but like everyone else said before parking is horrible. we need a place like what you are proposing for tournaments on that lake.

Funny and right on the money. Cedar Creek is long overdue to have a really good set up.
