i almost forgot; it's that time of year again...!
since my husband shut a car door on my flyrod a few months ago,
i'll have to turn lemons into lemonade & swing by the new bass pro for some new gear =)

Where is your favorite place to catch these trout? I like Bandera River because its a nice drive out and that town has a laid back feel to it.

I fished at bandera. saw a guy catch one after another with bread dough mixed with garlic and tuna.never seen that before.I like kidd springs in dallas area best .

Not sure if this would work around here but in Colorado we used to use worm and little marshmellows, put the marshmellow on the hook first then the worm, one small split shot, let it sink to the bottom.

this will be my first year to really try catchin the trout
i will head to colleyville. i was thinking about powerbait for trout any suggestions other than that

also does anyone know which pond they put the trout in?

small marshmellows soaked in Mazola Corn oil - overnight.


From Colorado to Texas...it does work, in Utah - velvetta is fun!
