I am always looking for a great catfish bait and have tried most you can buy at Walmart,Academy,Bass Pro and other stores. These baits all catch fish. I have recently did a side by side test of Stubbys and chemdogs bait. Chemdog bait is very garlic smelling and a little sticky on your fingers. The bait does catch fish but the bite was not consistent over a 4 hour period. I also used Stubbys bait same time same hole. This bait really does not have a bad smell and does not stick to your fingers while putting on hook. Stubbys bait caught more fish bigger fish and the bite was constant. Stubbys was the definite winner on fish production. I'm not knocking anyone's bait and I hope everyone is successfully selling bait they produce. I hope everyone has a great day on the lake.

Thanks
for the side by side report, I've not tried chemdogs yet, I put Stubbys to the test sunday against chicken liver, worms and Catawba worms, the biggest fish we got came off chicken liver, but stubbys put twice as many cats in the boat as the liver did,
Im wanting to give chemdogs a try, and see what it will do, we ware the rubber medical gloves when putting on the bait. so maybe chemdogs will not stick as bad,
plus I have a sink with running water on the old toon for washing hands. freak

I am glad to hear that Chemdawgs bait is catching some fish. Hope he does good with his sales. I will also probly get to try it in a week or two. I haven't had anything but good luck with Stubby's so far and for the same price I get almost 3 times the amount of bait from Stubby. I don't need to wear any special gloves either to put it on. I am curious to hear some more reports.

They are both good baits, but I will always be partial to Stubby's. When he heard my 3 year old son caught a Jr Angler record on his bait, he sent two more containers for my son to use and told me to let him know when he needed more. I'm a fan of anyone that recruits 3 year olds to be on their pro staff.

You won't find a better person than Stubby. He will go way out of his way to take care of you

I have a container of Stubby's but haven't had a chance to use it yet for channel cats like i should, I've meant to try it on a couple of trips but ended up chasing blue cats instead, I have looked at the bait and it looks like it is going to be good, I like the fact that it doesn't smell bad on your hand, hopefully soon i will anchor down and put it to work under a good slip cork

OK this is for the slow kids, hammer I should have said we wear the medical gloves for fishing during the summer months,
when you get your first infection from a freshwater lake and end up on High power antibodies for 10 days sick as 2 dogs and everything tasting like metal, it will not be near as funny, then you will understand wearing gloves while fishing, all it takes is a small cut on a finger and you are open to infections. and look at how many time's you get finned by a catfish while unhooking or throwing back ans see a little drip of blood, plus our lake waters are not the same lake water it was 10 years ago, it has lots more chemicals and bacteria. heck look at how many lake's you can't even eat the fish now, I know Im de
it is something we all need to think about,
