Dallas Bass Hookers Cub will be having our annual Open tournament on Saturday October 25, 2014 on Lake Ray Hubbard. Here is the information -

� When: Saturday, October 25th
� Where: Chandler's Landing Boat Ramp
� Time: 7:00AM - 3:00PM
� Registration: 5:45AM - 6:45AM
� Entry Fee: $120.00 per boat + $10 launch fee (collected at time of entry) � 2 person maximum, BB included

Registration will be at the ramp starting at 5:45 on Saturday morning. This is a trailering event. After registration you can trailer to the ramp of your choice and run to your spot. There is no fishing until 7:00. When you register you will be given a numbered chip. You will need to turn in the chip to get your fish weighed. Lines out of the water at 3:00. There will be a 30 minute dead water period where no fishing is allowed at the end of the day. This is to give our anglers time to get off the water, and the TD's time to get the weigh in set up. Your chip must be back in the bucket by 3:30 PM to weigh your catch for the day. You do not need to be a member to fish this tournament; this is an Open tournament. Payout will be 1 in 5 up to six places. Six places is the maximum number of payout spots to increase the payout should we exceed 30 boats. Big bass payout will be two places. The lake should be fishing really good by then so come out and join us! See you at the ramp!

Is there an age requirement for this tournament I am 17 and would like to participate

Here is our rules regarding participation:

Any person under the age of 18 entering a tournament must also have the signature of a parent or legal guardian in the provided space on the entry form. Any person�s participation in any tournament is at the sole discretion of DBH officials. Any person who, in the judgment of the tournament director, is disabled or handicapped in such a manner as to unfairly hinder or comprise his or her safety or the safety of his or her boater or co-angler partner may not be eligible to participate. All contestants must have a valid Texas fishing license.

So if my parent signs the registration form as well as my partners then we can join?

Yes but you must fish with an adult.

Will they have security there at the ramp?

Should be a fun tournament it was last year. I just hope we have enough water in the lake at that time to launch.
