I must be missing something, we used to water ski by Big Pines Lodge on Caddo Lake up the river (Big Cypress Bayou) and it is not as wide as where is was. Met boats going the other way close enough to say hello. Man-O-Man to be young again.

Nice video! Reminds me of being a kid and running backwaters with my dad. He was and still is a master boat handler in the twists and turns of a cypress swamp. Thanks for the memory!

I looked but I think idling under a bridge only if it is declared a no wake zone and signs are posted............but I also know that if someone is tied off to a piling fishing and your wake throws that vessel into the piling and damages it you are responsible for the damage if your wake caused the damage. That goes for any damage your wake would cause in pretty much any situation........I think the deal here; if you're in a bass boat and there isn't a no wake zone posted, either go under the bridge on the pad if it is safe to do so or idle under. Half plane will do lots more harm than good..............

Guy in the boat was a buddy (you can't see the waive and then bird he gives me), some of that is Rayburn and some is a lake (private) in southern Arkansas that is the best fishing in the universe right now. If you have played with a GoPro any the fisheye lense actually makes things like that appear way closer than they are, he was well away from me.
