Hey guys can anyone direct me to jigs that have plastic bodies but fur or feather tails . I would think this would be the best of both worlds . I found some made by Bentley but they only sell a variety color pack not individual colors, still they are a nice price I just hate to buy colors I know I'll never use.

The best of both world is right. I have been making and using these for a while now and love them. So do the crappie. The added ability to change colors without retying is great. Don't have much time now to make and sell them but if your interested in making them yourself, I could give you some tips that I have learned. I have seen a soft plastic body and marabou feather jigs at BPS.

I got these at Academy but they were in a blank bag with just a price and the associate did not know anything about them , they were in the bargain box only had 10 lures but then again it only cost $1.50 . Does anyone recognize them.

not too hard to make. you can cut up plastic worms for bodies and use a large sewing needle to pull the feathers through.

I bought some just like these at Bass Pro. it's been a couple of years but they had 6 or 8 different colors. I like them & have caught good numbers of crappie on them.
