Heard rumors that some retired fireman bought it. Might be your land lord down there. He might have--- except the boat parking and access to your room Not unless that firman already has 3 motels and a restaurant!!!! NOPE----But I do wish the owner of "3 motels and a restaurant" ALL the luck in the world.. Because it will take more than luck to make a profit from that property during the current state of the Amistad fishery. Please tell us --- Just who is the new owner of FOUR motels and now TWO restaurant's and a TACKLE shop ?? I might be in the market for a winter job!! I bet there taking Applications.

I'm fairly certain that my dog would make a better hotel proprietor than the previous owners of that place, so it has nowhere to go but up. Also, my dog can't get arrested for poaching.
Team wolfs I had to perform. It took a minute to get it all in my mouth and another five to swallow it all.

Carl and Diane are good people and from my understanding those charges were dismissed and pretty trumped up in the first place.

I hope it gets renovated and re-opens. Hopefully the new owners will ease up the smoking in the cafe. Smoke does not bother me a lot, but wow! Stop in there for breakfast and you need a lung transplant. Del Rio/Amistad is a brutal place to make a living on fishing business. But it sure is better than staying in town. Support the lake business when you can!

I think Tony and Kathy sold out in 2006 if I'am not mistaken. The boat storage is way to small and was built for 15-16' boats and are not level. Have a friend whose daughter considered buying it but it needed to be rewired, beds,AC units,Tv's and a lot of cosmetic plus new boat storage.

2006 Sounds about right.. I sure liked Tony. No doubt it will need some upgrades.. just be awful scary to put much money into anything at Amistad right now that has to rely on the fishery to generate income.

Word is the previous owner pleaded out of the charges, just the word on the del rio streets, I don't know and really don't care!
The new owner does have deep pockets, and even if it doesn't make money it's a loss so it benefits he's other interest as far as taxes go. You just have to know how to play the game! He also bought and is re-opening Cripple Creek. DEEP DEEP POCKETS...

Hmmmmm, I wonder why anybody would need Carl for a project like that? If they are bringing the money then they can hire a manager to run it, why a partner.
