Daniel prayed and Micheal an archangel came saying I was detained in a battle, but He heard your 1st prayer.

I was there this past weekend. Super tough fishing. Saturday caught 6 all day...best was 4lbs.....Sunday we blanked. Our guide didn't catch anything...neither did 5-6 others that we had lunch with sunday. Only bite was from a guide using live bait under the bridges.
My buddy is a great guide if you would like to spend half/full day and fish with a great guy. Let me know and I will PM you his info.

It has been really tough over all. Lots of shad but tough bite. Have to work really hard and slow to get bit and you better not miss that bite cause it maybe 6 hrs before the next bite !

There is some credible info from a guy who knows Fork, I would either hire a guide with a lot of experience like Marc or just go yourself with little or no expectations of catching much. Personally if I were investing the time and money to travel from out of state I would hire a guide for a day to get on a pattern for my trip. Either way, good luck!

Man, if the bite is 'off' at Lake Fork, America's 'premier' bass lake with "millions of shad" (sounds familiar) no wonder many are reporting much on all our other lakes. Just IMO....
