My new to me ride is done... 2011 27 Ameracat with twin 150 zukes. Chris up at Classic Fiberglass did an amazing job on the hull and rigging. Now at least in the winter the winds are not going to keep me off the lake... lol. Took it offshore this weekend... Offshore post I think with the length it should make for some good deadsticking/drifitng this year... Rig includes... 2X lowrance touch 12 72" shaft Ipilot 101 Lowrance 4G radar Lowrance sirius radio/weather SO FAR I really like the lowrance touches coming out of a HB 1197 on my other boat.. clarity in my opinion is better on the Lowrance. Ill be bringing the boat back up here from the coast once fishing for whites/hybrids picks back up around here.. until then its salt.

That is an awesome ride! Great post over in the salt water section. Don't think the fishing ever gets that good in fresh water.

That is a pretty slick rig for sure!
Saltwater can spoil you in some respects, but freshwater sure can be fun sometimes when it really goes crazy.

I agree! just not having to wash the h*ll out of the boat and keeping salt off is nice... I know after 3 days in a row of offshore this weekend.. i was WOOPED!!!!! 3 days on RC... a lot easier on the body... lol.

Let's go! I try to not tow it much.. It's at coast now and I'll probably leave it at twak or RC IF I can find a stall that will fit it. But when it is towed... F350 does good...

That cat hull does not pound when coming off a wave... It's very smooth!! I dont know if i could ever go back to a mono hull... Runs shallow.. Planes easy... All good!!

Nice versital boat and great salt report! My salt buddy said last Sat was calm sea and he landed a 35# Ling out of freeport. Just curious how fast can your rig go on calm sea and medium choppy sea? Bet that cuts the waves well
