On the bassgrabbers tournaments can you enter towards the end of the season around now? I was thinking of giving it a try now that my schedule at work has changed and I have Saturdays off. I checked out the locations that the August events will be at and they look like they'd be nice fishing. Can I show up at the events and watch from the parking lot just to get an idea of what its like??

However, You have to fish three in order to qualify for the Elite Championship Series (Our Championship. Just because you qualify, does not mean you will make it. You must within the top 20 in points on the overall standings to be invited. If those are youre plans, the time to enter would be NOW! We are in August which means 3 more months left before we head to the ECS which in November. The ECS is a 3 day championship-3 different locations- 1 winner. If you choose to not enter in the regular season events, I would suggest just coming out, meeting guys, and learning how this is operated and Ill let you make a decision. Havent had a long face yet!

Thanks for the info, I'll try and pre fish the locations this weekend. I tried this past weekend at Cityview and TJP, cityview I just walked around looking at where you could get to on foot, then when I went to TJP I didn't even notice the East pond, I fished the one in the middle where everyone said they recently drained it. Only thing I saw were turtles, nutria, and a huge water snake. Then I got home and researched it, and saw everyone fishes the side with the McD's.
