I am curious. How do you gear up for small mouth bass? And what type of flies do you use?

Crawfish and anything that goes bump in the night.
 It's more than the catfish would do.

They tend to really like neon colors as well salt water clouser colors work well. Baby blue pink chartreuse neon green. Right bellow riffles fast stripping them over cuts in the rocks will produce.

I just fished Brushy Creek last week, and caught several on a silver and green panfish fly I forget what it was called. The fish were pretty picky, but as soon as we put on anything tall and thin (like a panfish), they were going after them. Caught a few nice ones!
