I was wanting to do some cat fishing on Eagle Mountain sometime this weekend and was wondering if I could get some info on what to use and where to fish. I am primarily a bass fisherman and don't normally target any other species other than maybe sand bass but i am going to be taking some people who are relatively new to fishing and want to be able to show them a good time. I have a boat and will be launching from the twin points ramp. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

When I left around noonish, it was full and a heck of a lot of people wanting in.

yeah we got off at 2 and the line was to the dam.

I bet it was. The people I saw weren't to happy at all sitting in line. Oh and thanks for use of the fire ext.

yuck i rarely go on a weekend. Glad i have a job that lets me work on weekends and play during the week.

I had cleaned my boat out Friday night. Moved stuff around. Realized after I launched Saturday morning, I forgot to out my fire ext back in the boat. Borrowed one for the trip.

channels are on rocks. Get you some stink bait, or shad or sunfish. Now blues are scattered but drifting has been producing for me. Anything deeper than 25 fow hasn't been good with the thermocline set in. And its August with low rain chances for rain they said for the next couple weeks.
