This weekend I went down to the lake and casted out a Yellow Magic early morning and got great blow-ups! I landed half my fish that hit the lure then realized the hooks were bent.
What are some hook recommendations to replace the stock hooks WITHOUT hurting the action of the Yellow Magic?

They sell the rear hook replacement. Buy it, it sucks but that is what makes the YM balance. Front one use a #6. The hooks suck but that is part of the YM. I bought the last two rear hooks from LFM this weekend.

I'll definitely look into those! Thanks Rodney

I went one size up on the rear ( no feather) hook and stayed the same on the front. It sits the rear a touch lower in the water but didn't change the way it gets hit. The stock hooks are junk.

I have landed multiple 8s, 7s, 6s, 5, 4s and 3s on the stock hooks. I just back off on my drag so a 3lber can pull drag on it. I have also rebent the stock hooks to where they are back to a neutral fix. I bend them in just a tad bit, but not much. I tie my own feathered trailer hooks on gammy or owner stinger hooks, or even VMCs. Hope this helps.
Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
