I've been in contact with Doug but with the knee replacement I haven't fished any since June 1, so all I know is old news.
I will tell you this he is a hero and fished with me about 4-5 years ago on Fairfield, when he had just returned from Iraq. He gave me a flag, and official document flown on a mission over there.
I'm very thankful to have met him.

Jackie,
My wife and I had a blast with you... putting us on the redfish on Fairfield.. before the fish kill. What a great time.... took us right to the spots and then drags were screaming.

My buddy and I put out 6 jug lines [3 hooks per.]cut or whole bream shad or hotdogs.this is on our way out of Key ranch to fish the main lake.Ithe past month or so we have caught a ton .2 to 35 pounds mostly4 to 6.6 to 10 ft of water.we both have fish in the freezer so we have released them for you to catch .good luck.

Thanks Texsam,
I went yesterday and found a wind blown bank and set up in 10=15 FOW and got a limit of blues on cut shad... tried to catch sandies but couldn't... marked allot of them but then didn't want anything to do with my slabs and jigs.. so I went catfishing.. great day to be on the water...
