I've been fishing everyday on lake worth, eagle mountain and different ponds around the dfw are and have only had a few here and there. Is the bite just not that active this time of year? or is there something special you need to do to trigger bites? I need some help!

Fished Bridgeport today and didn't have our first bite til 11:30. Ended up with 11 nothing over 3lbs. All were caught on tx rig blue flake power baits and weightless sinkos. Did have a 5+ break off on a brush hog but that was the only bite on them. Fishing has defiantly been different the last 2 weeks then it has been

It was weird weather patterns all winter, then spring, now we are having a strangely mild summer. I think the fish are stressed by all this, most people are saying its been a tough bite this year.

I fished Ray Roberts yesterday and only caught 2 bass (and two sand bass) in 5 hours. Both bass we're caught on a small spinner bait in 2 fow. Nothing out deep would bite. The recent rises have them scattered. The bait fish are all over the bank cover right now.

Fished Ray Roberts as well yesterday, caught four between two and three lb. all on top water early, noting after 9:30. Oh expect one small spot mid morning also. No luck deep.

It's been tough. Everyone I talked to this weekend on Lake Fork was struggling. I caught one this morning after being skunked yesterday. A 9.7lbr so it went from bad to good with one cast!

Fished yesterday morning. Got one on the first cast and then nothing for about 2 hours. Got lucky and found a bunch of bass feeding on bait fish and had some fun for about an hour. Makes me kind of wonder if the fish are getting full on bait fish.
