I am looking for referrals for the following, preferably somewhat closer to me in the lake Lewisville area, but I will travel for someone good and reasonably priced.

1. Basic Reel Repair and Service

2. Rod repair such as guide replacement and handle foam.

3. Finally, a rod builder that can help me build a custom flipping stick. Because I have to fish sitting close to the deck (in a wheelchair) I have to turn my hand over to TRY to flip/pitch and I have to use a shorter length of line. As a result the handle gets in the way of trying to use my wrist instead of my elbow or shoulder as part of the motion. I have had some success using a pistol grip but I can't find a rod longer than 6'6" with a pistol style grip.

He lives in Greenville and he picks up rods in the Dallas area that need to be repaired. He can build just about anything that you need. He has repaired several rods for me and he has built a few for me.

He is the owner/operator of Bayou Kustom Rods and he can help with both repair and building you a custom flipping stick.
