There are lots of ponds to fish, I have fished there several times. They can be hit or miss but have always had a nice time. Always quite unless the lawn guys are there cutting the grass.

Common Sense has become so rare that it should be considered a super power

I've been out a number of times at different times of the day and never had much luck, but I get the feeling it's a fishy area. The fishing pressure can be high after work, but as the sun sets, most people go home and you see the water light up with surface strikes. I tend to fish the back two ponds that are the furthest walk from the road hoping for less fishing pressure. If you make it out, make sure you let us know how you did.

some people spend their whole life waiting for the storm, and never enjoy the sunshine

In the past when the ponds were all full, I've taken quite a few fish from out there. Right now most of the ponds have thick grass and then some folks coming out of FT. Worth have fished these small ponds with 4 and 5 poles each and then kept everything they caught. I've actually witnessed this. There are still some good fish there but the fishing is tougher right now.

I have fished it probably 20 times and have had mixed success. There's definitely fish in there, largest I've caught has been around 4lbs. If it ever rains again try and hit the grass with a frog, that's been the killer out there, or a light T-rigged worm.

I live nearby so I checked it out this afternoon. Caught and release 20 bluegills/warmouths and 1 small bass on my 1/2wt fly rod. I used a size 16 olive bead head scud. The ponds are like 4 feet low and some are pea colored and some have a ton of grass. Right now, I can think of better places to go.

I caught A nice size on a Spoon like 4 years ago, but I had fished almost 6 hours to get that.

people were saying the same thing they are saying now, 4 years ago.

just go check it out, throw something unorthodox, see what happens

On Mill Wood Dr. at the end where there is a half circle, just a short walk back to all the ponds.

This is my first post, haven't fished in years but recently bought a new rod and reel and I'm back at it bank fishing. I actually live in this neighborhood and there always seems to be people fishing these ponds. Not sure what's in there, just by looking at them they are all very low. I will go down there more and see what luck I have.
