***Hope For Hubbard Day 2 Included in Post***

Some buddies saw this via a text update last night. Ran out from 5-8 with neighbor Mark and the fishing was insane! Been waiting for a day like this for a month now. Ten minutes into fishing shad flying, fish schooling and birds working. Caught non stop from 5-8. I doubled and tripled on an A-rig at least twenty times. Total 10-hybrids and 78-Sandbass. No huge hybrids most were 16-18 inches. Of the doubles and triples had three times where it was one hybrid and one to two sandbass! Only took two pictures since it was such good fishing. BTW these weren't those skinny sandbass that have been around lately. These were fat. Some of the fish dropped shad in the boat. They were one-inch long. It then made sense to me. I down sized last week and caught two hybrids and ten sandbass. Give them what they are eating. Was throwing a 3/4 oz. speckled slab. Other pole was the A-rig. Even the plastics on the A-rig are down sized.

lol I like the U rig sometimes but other times It seems like I take too dang long to get it back in the water! It sure is fun getting doubles and triples though...Very excited about Hubbard picking up! This will be my first time to fish that lake and it is ALOT closer to me than Tawakoni.

Wow first time! I'm in my 30th year fishing Hubbard and never get sick of it. It's not Tawakoni but it produces. We live above Harbor Bay so it's easy to get out quickly. Check by the bridges and down South on the humps. The fish are finally showing up by the bridges. There's good guys out here and many are part of RHSA. People will give advice if you ask them. Frank when you drag those A-Rigs are you using down riggers or anything or just letting out line? What size A-Rigs.
