OMG! In July and from the shore too! That counts double in my book! With that big smallie you are now part of a very small number of fly fishers who have done the same.. especially in Texas! Moonriver is rising!

Great fish! Clouser? Texoma is very quickly becoming the best smallmouth lake in the south and I truly believe looking at Lake Erie that the zebra mussels have everything to do with it.

Agree! Texoma does have plenty of small mouth bass. I really like to catch them on fly rod now.

The lure I used is the one at the bottom in the picture. I was trying to learn how to tie it from Mike. Mine does not look as pretty as Mike's. I caught lot of fishes with it so far: sand bass, cat, striper, and small mouth.
