My wife bought me a present, actually I picked it out but she paid for it, it's a Jackson Kayak Superfishal. This thing is super stable and floats in what seems like a tablespoon of water. Of course that's an exaggeration but it continues to float long after my Commander 120 has run aground. I've never felt very comfortable standing in my Commander but I can stand all day long on the Superfishal. This is my second large purchase from Mountain Sports and I've got nothing but good things to say about their customer service. Thanks guys. The pictures below are from two different outings with two different cameras. For some reason digital cameras don't like the orange color of this craft.

By the way, I saw the bass pictured below sneaking around some tree branches in shallow water. I lobbed a wacky rigged worm about a foot in front of it and was surprised that it actually took my bait. This was the first time I have ever caught a fish while sight casting.

I had a few extra pics from a recent Trinity River fishing trip with my son, I figured I'd go ahead and throw them in here. This was my son's first time in a kayak.

Nice. I like that Superfishal. I tried one during the GTG just to see how stable it was and to get a good laugh when I fell in. Well I was really suprised by the stability and how easy it paddles. I weigh 290 and have never been on a paddle board so I was pretty sure it was going to make me go for a swim. Not at all that thing is awesome. Congrats on your new addition and nice pics.

If you don't mind me asking what creek/river are you yaking? It looks nice and relaxing but I understand if you want to keep it secret.

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Never really wanted a SUP, but it looks like a great river platform from which to do some sight fishing.

a lo109-It's the Trinity River in southwest Fort Worth south of Interstate 20. Most of the launch locations on the Trinity in Fort Worth are a pain to get to and a pain to launch from, this spot is no exception. I have to cart my yak about 1/4 mile down a bike trail to get to my launch point. If you're interested let me know and I'll tell you how to get out there.

That's cool. I missed Paloviks by about an hour when he was selling his demo. The little princess might gone rogue on me if I had bought it! I was thinking about river fishing as well...

Nice SUP man. I looked these things over in a Surf/fishing shop in Fort Walton Beach and was very impressed. Sight cast for days! Awesome setup

If the water is high enough I'll put in under 183 but usually I'll put in at the dam in Overton Park.

Looks great. The SUPerFishall has been on my wish list for a while.
