I was at Arlington last night. Fishing was slow and the jet skis and ski boats were out. I am headed to pool this afternoon.

I haven't fished it in a while myself, but I know most guys that get into them fish main lake points. As for what depth I couldn't tell you but hopefully your graph will help locate them at depth. Also, there is a hump down by the dam close kind of in front of the pump station that I've caught fish on before. If all else fails try going to the mountain creek side and flipping the timber in the pockets on the north side before you go under the bridge. If you go under the bridge I have no idea what to tell you. I'm sure someone has a clue back there but I have rarely ever seen any more than crappie and catfisherman back in there. As for lures, I've always caught fish on finesse worms, Carolina rigs and small square bill cranks in chartreuse with either a green, blue, or black back.
Like, I said it's been a while but maybe this will give you a starting point at least. Let us know how yall do!

Some of those main points get pretty deep, and it is hard to fish that lake sometimes with the predominant south wind and once the play boats come out, the water gets rough. Its a small lake, so I think that compounds the action of the waves. The wind, play boats and size, make it hard to fish except real early or at night this time of year. It's been tough for me out there.

My buddy's son caught a 7.4 and a 9.3 at JP today. They caught 3 other overs. They have been catching big fish at pool all year

Joe Pool is very tempermental. You can slay them one day and get your butt handed to you the next. With that said, the Pool has been producing more overs this year than I've seen in a long time, even when it had grass. I would say look for off shore structure to find the big ones, but theres always unders in the creeks. Good luck!
