I do have a micrometer. I'll just do that. Not sure why I thought there was some magical process or secret bearing part number. Thanks for all the help!

The bearings are 4x7x2.5 size. I buy these ebay bearings and replace the plastic bushings on all my shimanos and even my Daiwa Tatulas (replaces the worm gear bearings too) with them! You don't need expensive ceramic ABEC 5 or 7 bearings for a slow spinning part like the handle knobs. I have about 30 of them installed in various reels with no problems. Boca also sells this size for a bit more, but still very affordable, and shipped from the USA.
