Hey all,

I am rather new here in Texas and I don't know anyone here yet. As you can imagine, that makes it kinda hard to go on fishing trips and hunting outings when all you have is yourself. As if that wasn't bad enough, I don't have a boat so that means all fishing I can do must be from the bank.

Just a bit about me......I am 48 and am originally from Huntington, WV.. I am Christian and CONSERVATIVE! A gun NUT and rabid fan of college football. My childhood friend of many years is now the Defensive Coordinator for A&M...MARK SNYDER.

I thought I'd post here in the hopes of meeting up with some new fishermen who would like to meet a new outdoor enthusiast and have someone to talk to while chasing bass....or whatever fish. I'd really like to do some night fishing on some of the bass lakes if someone needs someone to take up an empty seat in their boat for the night. I can also help with some expenses if needed. Of course I like DAY fishing too as well as fishing in the gulf or any other salt-water. I don't have much experience in that type of fishing, but would still really like to go. I also don't have any heavy duty gear for going after those MONSTERS out in the salt water depths.

I am willing to drive a bit to go fishing with someone on a nice lake. I have never been to ANY lakes in Texas and of course I'd love the chance to chase some of the HUGE BASS I have heard about that roam these Texas waters.

So, if you don't want to go fishing by yourself and wouldn't mind some company while exposing a new resident of Texas to some awesome fishing at the same time, PM me and maybe I can accompany you on your outing. I look forward to meeting anyone that has a desire to invite me along.
