Was able to get out from 6 to 8:15PM today. Checked out Mid-lake Hump. Caught a few but very slow because you really have to finesse the fish to get them to bite. Went on to Key Ranch Drop-off. Caught a legal hybrid and a white there but fish seemed to be moving around. Went on to Key Ranch North. Caught 3 or 4 whites and 2 legal hybrids. The fish seemed to balk at #4 Mepps and when I tried a #2 I caught the 2 hybrids and a nice white in my 1st 3 casts (see pic of hybrid w/#2 Mepps). That action stopped and I went on to Old pond Dam (not on map) and it was covered with fish in 10 fow. Sat there and caught whites, another legal hybrid and a couple of yellows til total fish count go to 40, then went home. The 40 included 31 whites, 4 legal hybrids, 3 yellows and 2 cats.

22 inch hybrid caught on #2 silver Mepps in 14 fow
