I was wondering if Fork had many blue's in it? If so how are many of you catching them? I catch a tune of them in OK on jugs but that lake is full of them.

Thanks,

No, there's none if any at all blues in Fork. I'd like to know if anyone has ever caught one period. I was always told they were never put in the lake but TPWD website says they stocked them when the lake was first built.

TPWD says the rod and reel lake record blue is 71.50 lbs on Lake Fork and that someone shot one with a bow that was just over 50lbs so they must be in there.....

Catch and release into the grease!

We fished that thing silly for 7years straight back when Bob Sealy 1st started the Hrly cat competition....I still havent caught a blue hammer...77777b hasnt caught one either hmmm weve tried it all live bait/shad/skips/punch bait / not a single blue.....I will say this It is close enought to Tawakoni to produce blues....anyone hit game fish up to stock some???

If it ain't broke don't fix it...but go ahead and work on it anyway.....

Yes, Fork has Blues, I have caught them there. IMO they are just not in large numbers tuff to catch on rod and reel.First you have to find them, and you have to keep your shad from being eaten by bass long enough to catch one...
