Starting the week out by catching some super nice Rios. Fished Monday and today during the morning hours from 7am till 11am. Been going to some Rio spots and the bite has been good. Caught about 8 to 12 nice Rios each trip. Today Fred "Rionator" joined me and he caught 10 nice Rios. The biggest was 10.75" in length. Most of the fish caught were in the 9" range. We had several in the 10"range. Fish were caught on live worms, and Berkley Power Worms-natural color. Bottom and drop shot techniques were used. All fish were released to fight again. After a nice morning of some good Rio action we had a super breakfast at the Union Street Station in New Braunfels. Catching some nice Rios with the "Rionator". It just don't get any better. fish

Read a report on Facebook of catching Rios in the San Gabriel at Georgetown. Have you ever tried there?

Banker, et al.
I think that Facebook report might have been from living water fly shop. I made my own report on the ultralight fishing forum, and I would encourage you to go fish he San Gabriel below the city park. I fished flies, but baits of shy kind should work you can these guys moving around on their beds

Take care
