Are ya'll saying , I could pull a 19' Stratos, single axle, with a small V-8, COMFORTABLY? I am in the market for a new truck. Saturday morning, I go shopping. Anyone have recommendations, make model, engine, rear-end? Should I be thinking 5.3 and 4-wheel drive? I have driven Fords all my life, but heard GMC Vortec was sweet. Feedback please. If you have a dealer I should holler at, tell me so. I am in San Antonio, but don't mind traveling, if I am treated right.

i pulled a 20 ft. bumper pull trailer abought 350 miles from houston loaded down with furniture and had no problem with my v-6. if your pulling it far i would get the 5.4 for extra torqe. but you would probably be happy with a 4.6 if you dont travel far. happy truck hunting.

keep hunting and fishing alive. teach a kid.
