I've got a handful of rods that are just taking up space and collecting dust. They probably cost me anywhere from $10ish - $40ish each. There are a couple w/reels on them. I thought about trying to sell them but I'd like to donate them to a worthy cause...no a legitimate worthy cause! lizard

Anyone have any suggestions? I know that friendtothefatherless cat use to run some sort of outfit like this but I haven't seen him around in a while.

My nephew started a high school club in AR that has gained a LOT of interest from kids that have no gear. I've given them some of my older stuff and I'm sure they would appreciate anything you could contribute.

in addition to the kids in Arkansas there are many high schools in Texas also just starting fishing teams.

I believe you could get in touch with Jeff Lobaugh from Rains who is pushing the program and doing a great job at it or any of the folks you see on here posting about the program.

If you would like to donate to any team in the THSBA, send me a PM with where you are. I can make arrangemets to pick them up, get you the contact for the school in your area, or I am sure if you are in the Hurst area, Fun N Sun can collect and I will pick up.

Thanks
Ken
