I think this year we will make it a multi species event so we can include all our anglers.

All state and lake regs will applie.
Entry fee is 10 dollar minimum which will be donated to a charity in Jackson Plumlee's honor.

I will need some folks to help me with the weigh in

Anyone that wishes to do t-shirts BBQ etc.. please post here what you need etc..

Time registration will start around 530 am at the Dooley ramp you may begin fishing after you have registered. Weigh in will start at 3pm.

After you weigh your fish you can do what you want with them eat or set em free as long as only legal fish are involved

We may or may not have any prizes (have not worked that out yet)

Main thing is we all come out and have a grand ole time and donate some cash to a good cause.

I was thinking this might be a great charity to donate to what do you all think ?

Sounds good to me! You should re-post this in all the individual species sections as well. At least those sections for the species you're planning to include in the tourny. Give it a date/time/details post in each section so that everyone knows when and where.

Will there be different categories for weigh in?? Or will it be legal limit against legal limit ( i.e legal limit of sandbass = 25 against legal limit of bass = 5)?

Should probably have different categories if you're worried about the actual tournament aspect.

Otherwise it will probably be a catfish or rough fish angler ( If allowed. ) that wins the tournament. 25 nice channels, or a few big buffalo would clean up against smaller species after all.

Hawke, sounds like yo have a few details to work out on the multi species thing, but its a great idea!! You know I will be more than happy to assist at weigh in or whatever you need homie just let me know.

Did I hear Carp division!? I'll have to get Tracy and the guys involved. and see if we can pull a group together. We need to redeem ourselves for blanking at the Fork charity tourney. Maybe we can introduce the "Lonestar Carp Tournament Trail" at the weigh in.

I totally missed last years tourney. This sounds more like a "Lets Get Together and Have a Great Time for Charity Fishing Tournament"

There are a few ramps that are useable right now. The free ramps on the Flowermound side are good and so is Dooley (katie woods) I am guessing the festivities will be held at the Dooley ramp since it has the most parking. Dont hold me to that, Hawke will have to confirm.
