i have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 2wd and i got it lifted about a year ago. now it keeps getting unaligned. i have had it aligned two times already and the same thing everytime. the tires start to toe in badly. is this because my ball joints are bad? i say its the ball joints because i had a friend with a lifted chevy and his ball joints went bad. what should i do? and how much do you think it will cost?
Thank you Jacob

I will tell you if your ball joints are bad and the trucks alignment was ok before. You put new joints in and it will put it back where it was before. In short, ball joints that are worn will move the alignment out. But the new ones put it back where it was. NO alignment needed. Trucks usually hold an alignment very well. If it is done right to begin with. Ask for a before and after printout when you get the next alignment. Some shops only adjust the toe and charge you for an complete alignment. Make sure that they are doing a four wheel thrust alignment and adjusting all three angles Caster,Camber and Toe Good luck to ya CBW
Theres only two kinds. Good ole big'ems. And big ole good ems.
