I have a dodge 1/2 ton 4x4 short bed with big camper shell. (3 foot high) by the time I load all the stuff I think I need for a surf fishing trip I end up with alot of weight in the back. when the truck is loaded up it wags an rocks when I go around corners. at hiway speeds in high wind the truck is a little unstable. do yall think rear monroe coil spring overload shocks would help?

I had those monroe load leveler shocks on my 1/2 ton GMC. They stiffen your ride up a bunch. If you dont do most of your driving loaded, you might want to consider air shocks. I was contracting and my truck was loaded down alot so they did work well for me. Plus I just liked the look on all those ford drivers faces at home depot when they saw me load 40 bags of concrete in a 1/2 ton and drive away.

Thanks CHRIS B. I just installed a pair of monroe load levelers.($106 at shockwarehouse.com) what a differance! no more swaying around. they really stablized my truck and put it back to the stock stance. I wish I wouldve bought a set if them 3 years ago when I got my camper! 4X4
