So I am in the process of converting my 16 flatbottom into a duck hunting boat. It was solid grey and just wanted a change. I have already stripped it down to bare aluminum, which citistrip is the way to go btw. Originally, my plan was to just buy some flat tan marine paint with a steel grey as the flooring mixed with sand for grip, im a cheap skate like that. I have already purchased the polyurethane oil based paint for the flooring along with the sand and just ordered 1 gallon of parkers dead grass boat paint along with the 1 gal primer for the outside along with the camo spray paint kit. This is where my question is, I decided to go camo after putting in the primer for the flooring already. Would I be okay in just painting over the steel grey polyurethane/sand given that I have enough parkers left? Just stencil camo over the polyurethane with the spray paint? Both paints are oil based. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't see why it wouldn't be fine.
