Great job Matt, Shaun and Jay on the black bass - I knew you guys couldn't leave them alone.  Rawfish - I have to say that was the greatest catch and landing I believe I've ever witnessed! That fish had an enormous topwater blowup, Norm hooked it up and being a nice guy handed it off to his girlfriend who fought it like a pro....and that fish did not come to the boat easily - it was running hard and strong. And she expertly got it over to the side of the boat for Norm to land who hand snatched it from the water.....great teamwork! Also, I think more than one person found out they needed larger nets for their catch.  BTW, the GW at the entrance to the marina was very appreciative of how everyone kept their wake down to a minimum coming back in.

FishAll50 really delivered for us today - not just welcoming us out, but he lent me the big chugbug that got the 30" fish, and then sent me some pics! Here are a few... I hooked it, she fought it, and I failed to net it but got it in the boat anyway.   I need to be a little more optimistic about my fish haul next time. Those stripers didn't even come close to fitting in the cooler!  Up close.  This was probably my favorite action of the day! HUGE blow up on top and was nice to see such great teamwork. Norm, Yoko - congrats on landing that beast. For the record, I was the one yelling " give the rod to your wife" after you set the hook. Nice job Norm.

I have officially dubbed Lake Texoma as Mr. Roger's Neighborhood
 Lots of awesome pictures and stories! I'm sorry I was away when the team takedown of the big striper took place! I heard the hootin n hollerin tho! I got a nice couple of fish with a 30 plus a little, and a 29 that I got to see eat my roadrunner about 6 feet from the boat. It took about 40 yards of line in the next few seconds... Awesome day! Good to meet/see those I did and I know I missed a few of you. Next time!

Thanks again to Roger for the open invite. That was a pretty epic day. Everyone caught fish and had an excellent time. Here's some of my pics from Saturday.   I ended up with a 23", 25", and a about a dozen under 20".

Robby was supposed to go out with us on Saturday, but something came up. So me and him snuck back to Texoma on Sunday!!! Here's more pics!!  I ended the day with 2 - 25" and over a dozen under 21" again.  Just wanted to show how clear the water is there. Very cool.
